Shattered Dreams, Africa and the world

For many years, African writers have tried to challenge the idea of Africa as a hunger zone. Many have perceived Africa as a poor continent, where food is expensive, there is high mortality rate and most importantly, the world's cruelest leaders who parade themselves as democrats. But here is the problem;as pointed out by globally acclaimed, Nigerian author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie in her viral Ted talk, THE DANGERS OF A SINGLE STORY, Africa has ever since been seen as a poverty stricken continent. TO YOU,MY LOVE

Dear unpublished writer,   I have seen and I have heard. You have done all you could but still the same result.    You have written to literary agents but no response 😢  And now, you feel dejected. You are depressed. And you feel like giving up. But I'm here to encourage you. I'm here to console you. Giving up is not the best option. The successful writers in the world also faced rejection. But what has built them over the years is resilience and persistence. My love, do not give up on that book 🙏  ✅ Keep writing. ✅ Send your work to established authors in your genre. ✅ Start a blog. ✅ Tell your writing story. Don't just give up on that book. The world is waiting to hear about you. Sincerely, Chidera Onuoha. Nigeria.

The novel is set in an imaginary country in West Africa during the 19th century .  I call Shattered Dreams "a novel written for Africa" because it was written for the love of the African continent . It was written to create an image of the corruption and bad leadership in the continent.   Of course, there are good leaders in Africa. However, the bad leaders in the continent have outnumbered the good ones. And it is quite unfortunate for...
