SHATTERED DREAMS EXCERPT

"The white man imposed themselves on us; their religion, culture, mode of dressing. These people claimed they have found bushes in Africa. Well, they may be right. But in this bush rose the Oyo empire. In this bush, the Igbo people practiced republicanism. In this bush, Egypt built the biggest civilization in the world. In this bush, iron was smelt! What were these white people doing, they were busy fighting. They called it the medieval era".

   This is an excerpt from chapter six of my novel, Shattered Dreams, currently on Wattpad.

Shattered Dreams,a speculative fiction, tells the story of a timid but highly intelligent boy, Chikadibia, who is destined to liberate the people of Umuaga. It is set in an imaginary country in West Africa during the 19th century.

Shattered Dreams is a story written for Africa. The rest of the world can catch up if they want to. But of course, they will 😁

TRUMP'S AMERICA AND TINUBU'S NIGERIA

Every country has its own weaknesses and problems. It all depends on how the government of the country handles it. Feminism In Distress: Africa in View

The new definition of feminism; the extinction of man. From ancient times, women have always fought for their rights. Therefore, feminism is not a new concept. From the colonial era down to this age, there has been a continuous call for equal opportunities to both genders. This doesn't mean that feminism started during the colonial era in Africa. It runs down to the eighteenth and nineteenth century where women from groups for promotion of woman's dignity and fight against women's abuse.
